Wool

Information

It’s an animal fiber obtained from sheep’s fur.

Considered a warm fiber, it has a thermoregulating action thanks to the waving of the fibers and the air that remains trapped between the fibers themselves.

This fiber can absorb up to 20% of humidity.
Wool is widely used in textiles, pure or blended.
Woolmark is the international brand that certifies that a garment is made of Pure Virgin Wool.
“Pure” means 100% wool, while “Virgin” indicates that the garment was made with fibers that have not previously been processed.

In fact, regenerated wool cannot carry Woolmark brand.
Woolblendmark brand, on the other hand, indicates the quality for Wool Blends.
